Learning Express Library

1. I already had an account set up since I had looked at this site before. It is nice to have the challenge so that you play around with it and learn a lot more about it.
2. I choose the Cosmetology exam because I had this career years ago and had taken an exam for this. I choose to take the whole test to see how I scored. Funny how much you forget. I loved the fact that you could see your answers right away. For someone looking into this field you could tell what areas you did the best and/or worst. I believe it would be very helpful for patrons/students for practicing and also seeing what areas you might excel as well as areas that might need more work. A very helpful site.
3. In the Job search and workplace skills learning center I added Goof Poof Interviews. The tools were so great to work with. You can convert files or create PDF files or send files. I added some text and could sign and send my document. I also highlighted some areas and placed a couple of sticky notes so I could refer back to this area. This would be so helpful if you are studying this particular part of the book. There are so many things you could do in here.
4. I put Nursing in the term search and came up with 21 results in tests, 0 in courses and 8 in ebooks. I downloaded on the the ebooks ( Becoming a nurse). This was a great ebook to look at if you were interested in becoming a nurse.
I learned a lot with this site. I tried parts of some of the exams, downloaded different courses and ebooks just to look around. It was interesting, helpful and fun.

Week one Challenge

World Book online for Kids (Public libraries) is a wonderful site for the younger grades. It contains a couple of videos, a picture and some articles. The articles are pretty basic which is perfect for young kids. I choose a Koala so the articles pertained to the Koala, where it lived and Marsupials. World Book online info finder (Public Libraries) has much more information. It also offers web sites and magazine articles. Patrons should be able to find the information they need and the tools are very helpful.

World Book online Reference Center (Public libraries) offers so much information.  Denmark was the country I choose. There are so many search results from encyclopedia articles to research guides to web sites and so on. I think our patrons could find almost anything they need if they look around on this site. Just one of the web sites gave me lifestyle, blogs, quick facts and videos. What a fun resource.
